Miss Bingley self-sabotages herself for the hand of Mr. Darcy Because she is catty, and is very overly prideful.
Mr. Darcy is the kind of guy who doesn't fancy women who think they are above everyone else. He's cold and usually wishes that he could ignore Miss Bingley without being rude, one example is that time when Miss. Bingley was over Mr. Darcy's shoulder telling him what to write to his sister.
Miss. Bingley constantly looks for attention from Mr. Darcy, and uses Elizabeth to get his attention, like talking to her, or like that time she invited Elizabeth to walk around the room with her to talk.
Miss. Bingley also brang up and made fun of Elizabeth's family and made fun of Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth's "future marriage"
these bring up the reasons that Miss. Bingley strikes out with Darcy . she's annoying to him, she's catty, and just a brat in general.
